The Superbrands title, which was awarded for the seventh year in the Czech Republic since its renewal, can only be conferred upon brands with business results that have warranted their nomination. The expert Business Brand Council has the final say. This council is made up of of authorities in business, communications, marketing, media and marketing research. The decision-making criteria includes attributes such as familiarity, brand building, innovation and prestige.

The home of the Superbrands international organisation is Great Britain, where the project was conceived in 1994 and from which it expanded to more than 90 countries on 5 continents in more than 20 years. The project was implemented in the Czech Republic at the start of the new millennium, and renewed in 2013. The project’s main objective is to identify the best brands on the local markets every year, based on unified criteria and methods.
