Within the supplied solutions, IT Služby division of AspectWorks provides a complete service from presenting the basic concept and demonstrations of the designed system through custom analyses and implementations to staff training and support for maintaining the operation of the applications. It is a strategic partner for its customers for developing reliable custom software fulfilling client-specific requirements. Its know-how stems from 16 years of experience and over 380 successful projects for the largest customers throughout three continents.
AspectWorks’ IT Služby division achieved a turnover of CZK 100 million in the last closed fiscal year.
“I am very glad we have succeeded in acquiring AspectWorks. Thanks to it, we are gaining not only great new solutions for our portfolio, but also a motivated team of employees and a large number of satisfied customers,” says Martin Cígler, the chairman of the board of Solitea. “We share the same corporate values wit AspectWorks which are built upon long-term cooperation with clients, their maximum satisfaction with the rendered work, and high expertise of the implementation team. I have no doubt therefore that the integration of AspectWorks into the structures of Solitea has all the potential necessary for our connection to provide long-term benefits for all involved parties.”
In the region of central Europe, Solitea belongs among the largest suppliers of accounting and corporate information systems (ERP) for the commercial segment as well as for state and non-government organizations. It provides iDoklad and Minimax cloud services to hundreds of thousands of small enterprises, in the Czech Republic, it is also the leader in the market of cash register systems. It offers complex turnkey payroll outsourcing and successfully implements very extensive tailored projects both on domestic and foreign markets – a domestic example may be eRecept, a foreign one the implementation of the information system of Finnish customs authority TULLI.
“Solitea belongs among leaders in the Czech and Slovak corporate system markets, and the integration opens new possibilities and business opportunities for us,” Jan Svatoš, AspectWorks’ CEO adds. “We would like to make use of Solitea’s robust strong background and its know-how as well as to fully exploit our mutual synergies and all the opportunities that we are able to grasp in the context of the supplied solutions.”
“The vision of Solitea is to simplify the business for companies of all sizes through its products and solutions. The acquisition of AspectWorks is just one more step in fulfilling this goal, a strategic investment opening new markets, opportunities, and synergy,” Martin Cígler adds. “The acquisition brings no changes for the customers and business partners of AspectWorks, the existing executive management keeps directing the company and there are no changes to the company’s business operation.”
The finishing of the transaction is planned for the end of March depending on how quickly it will be possible to successfully hive off IT Služby division from its mother company AspectWorks to become a new subject, AW Solutions. The following step will then be merging AW Solutions with Solitea.
Since its foundation in 2005, the strategic focus of AspectWorks has been supplying information systems for the sectors of banking, insurance, telecommunications and for other big customers both in the Czech and regional markets.
