Solitea Holding has acquired a 100% stake in Clever Decision, spol. s r.o., a major supplier of BI solutions and data warehouses in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Solitea has thus strengthened its team in the field of data analytics and is one step closer to fulfilling its vision of becoming the market leader in corporate information system suppliers for companies of all sizes in Central and Eastern Europe.
“We consider the data analytics segment to be highly prospective. For medium-sized and large companies, it is increasingly more important to make strategic decisions based the correct evaluation of the available data,” says Martin Cígler, Chief Executive Officer of the Solitea holding. “In the Czech and Slovak Republics, we are now among the market leaders in Microsoft Dynamics ERP and Infor solutions, which opens up vast potential for monitoring company performance. This is why last year’s acquisition of the Czech company BI Experts was aimed at the BI segment. With its customer base and know-how, the acquisition of Clever Decision gives us the ability to better serve our customers and strengthens the opportunity to quickly reach the forefront of the growing Business Intelligence market.”
Solitea is among the largest suppliers of accounting and corporate information systems (ERP) in Central Europe and the Balkans, both for the commercial segment and for state and non-profit organisations. It serves hundreds of thousands of small businesses with the iDoklad and Minimax cloud services, offers complete turnkey outsourcing of payroll and successfully implements even very extensive, customised projects both domestically and abroad - for example the eRecept project at home, or the implementation of the TULLI information system for the Finnish customs authority abroad. Solitea is one of Microsoft’s most important partners in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
“For years, we have been one of Microsoft’s major partners in the Czech market in the Business Intelligence segment,” adds Jan Zajíc, co-founder and CEO of Clever Decision. “We build on practical experience from countless implemented projects. Solitea offers us an immense opportunity to grow, the possibility to better apply our experience and know-how in the data analytics segment, and above all to exploit the synergies offered by the size of the group.” “Solitea Holding’s vision is to simplify business for companies of all sizes with its products and solutions. The acquisition of Clever Decision is just another step towards fulfilling this vision, a strategic investment that opens new markets and new opportunities for all of the group’s members,” adds Martin Cígler.
From the point of view of customers and business partners of Clever decision, nothing has changed following the acquisition. The company is still run by the original management and its activities remain unchanged.” On the part of Clever Decision, the entire process was managed by Ján Slavíček, Igor Mesenský and Tomáš Sláma from KPMG Česká republika, which was the exclusive financial advisor to the sellers.
